I read the above statement, now what does it mean in plain English ?
In plain English it means that although it is very easy for you
to copy pictures and articles from our pages, you may not
publish them yourself. For example you are not allowed to use the
articles in a magazine. Nor are you allowed to put our
pictures onto your World Wide Web pages or onto some
FTP server.

How do I go about getting permission to use your material ?
We are happy to share our pictures with Silken Windhound enthusiasts. Please contact salla@sarandas.net for current Conditions of Use and tell her which article(s) or picture(s) you would like
to use and for what purpose. Higher quality scans of the photographs are available for digital printing and the like.
Why are you making such a big fuss out of this ?
The Internet is a big, wild place and while we love to share our pictures and articles we still need to protect our rights to them. We have nothing against lending material to others but we do need to retain control of the said material.
